No dia 25 de maio aproximadamente 600 manifestantes pelo segundo ano consecutivo no município de Nova Iguaçu, marcharam para pedir a legalização das drogas no Brasil.

Em clima de festa, que juntou o hip hop, o skate e a política os militantes fizeram uma bela intervenção urbana no meio da Baixada Fluminense, palco de tantos massacres deu lugar a alegria e a luta pela legalização da maconha.

Numa tarde de sol, o município recebeu militantes conhecidos do movimento, como João Menezes, professor da UFRJ, André Barros, adv. da marcha da maconha, e o vereador eleito pelo Psol Renato Cinco, além da inesperada presença do Pedro Bial e sua equipe que fez toda a cobertura da manifestação para ser exibida no seu programa Na Moral, que deve ir ao ar no dia 04/07.

Apesar da grande cultura do medo que reina na baixada, o movimento contou com a adesão de grande parcela da população que passava de carro no local, com suas buzinas nos apoiavam e geralmente gritam - legalizaaaa!!! em forma de apoio ao movimento. Não raro uma tia ou um tiozinho vinham nos dar os parabéns, e diziam, já fumei muito meu filho; é um absurdo proibir!

A prisão de Ras Geraldinho foi lembrada e ao final da marcha os manifestantes fizeram uma pose para a grande foto em homenagem ao nosso reverendo, demonstrando que estamos juntos, num só coração e na mesma batida; todos de Nova Iguaçu festejando mais uma gloriosa Marcha da Maconha de Nova Iguaçu, baixada fluminense, terra onde a criança chora e a mãe não vê; mas que está viva e lutando pela justiça num movimento que cresce a cada ano.

As Marchas acontece 1 vez por ano, tipo, passamos 364 dias do ano pra todo trabalho se concentrar nas Marchas, e a Baixada tá no pique de se fortaceler em cima desse evento único.

Quem é do Rio tem, no mínimo, 2 oportunidades de fato pra pedir por sua moral e dignidade: uma em Ipanema representando o Rio. E a outra em Nova Iguaçú representando a Baixada Fluminense.
