Growroom is a group working to defend the rights of marijuana users, and as one of their main activities to maintain an Internet Portal about everything that is related to the plant Cannabis sativa, its uses and users, and a board that serves as a cannabis users living room.
In this board, the user can share information, experiences, articles and other content, seeking the resolution of individual problems, through the collective data base. The Growroom operates within the harm and risk reduction principles, sseeking greater autonomy and responsibility of the users.
Since 2002, the Growroom works to promoting the living space online in order to reduce risk, harms and social and political costs associated with the cannabis use. The Growroom is a space in which people develop the practice of self-care, through more safer, less harmful and socially responsible use of cannabis and its derivatives.
By using the tools of the internet to perform these actions of social integration and promoting health and independence to drug users, Growroom remains aligned and grounded in the National Policy on Drugs, the Drug Law 11.343/2006, the principles and objectives of the National System of Drug Public Policies (SISNAD) and mainly in the Brazilian Federal Constitution.
